We'll be at KubeCon EU 2018 and we'd love to meet you while we're there!

KubeCon EU 2018 kicks off at the Bella Center in Copenhagen next week and we’re sending most of the team up there to learn about the latest cloud native developments and, of course, spread the word about Dotmesh.

In particular we’re looking forward to meeting people who are dealing with managing data in development environments when using microservices, in CI/CD pipelines and in data science.

We have a packed schedule full of ways to meet us, below is an overview.

Birds of a feather sessions: Eat lunch with the team and join in the conversation.

Between 12 and 2pm on each day of the conference we’ll be hosting intimate ‘birds of a feather’ sessions where we’ll discuss various topics:

Tuesday 1st May - Managing microservice data in development environments Wednesday 2nd May - Managing data in CI and continuous delivery pipelines Thursday 3rd May - Managing production data in cloud native applications Friday 4th - Managing data provenance and reproducibility in data science

We’ll provide lunch, you just need to bring your thoughts and questions. If you’d like to join one of the lunchtime sessions please email Mark and hurry up as each session is limited to 10 people!

Free full day hackathon - Tuesday 1st May.

Managing Data in Cloud Native and Data Science: A Hackathon presented by Dotmesh and Red Hat

From the Kubecon website: “It’s becoming increasingly important to have a clear strategy for data management in containerized cloud native and data science environments. Learning about new techniques and tooling can help you to stay in control as the challenges become more complex.

This free, full-day session will give you the chance to discuss and use new technologies that offer a data management layer to complement your current cloud native and data science tooling. You will leave with an understanding of how this new approach can increase the usability and speed of your stack.”
